Natalie Javed, BA(Hons.), JD
Barrister / Solicitor / Notary Public
Natalie Javed is the Principal Lawyer and founder of the firm, where she leads with a strong commitment to client advocacy and mentorship. She has trained several lawyers who have since gone on to build successful careers at other firms. Natalie practices exclusively in Family Law and Child Protection Law, areas she chose out of a deep passion for helping individuals and families navigate some of the most difficult and emotional times in their lives.
Before beginning her legal career, Natalie earned a B.A. (Hons.) in Philosophy and Religion from the University of Toronto. She later pursued her Juris Doctor (J.D.) at Western Michigan University Cooley Law School and was called to the New York Bar in 2012. She gained valuable experience practicing with Greenspan Law Firm in both New York and Florida.
After returning to Canada, Natalie completed her NCA accreditation and articled at The Corporation of the City of Mississauga, where she focused primarily on municipal law. She was called to the Ontario Bar in January 2017.
Natalie is deeply rooted in her community and has actively participated in local political initiatives and social causes. She previously served on the fundraising committee for Our Place Peel, was named a ‘Star Volunteer’ by Seva Food Bank in 2019, and held the position of Vice Chair on the Brampton Appeal Tribunal until 2023. She continues to volunteer with Seva Food Bank, where her commitment to service is widely recognized.
Natalie’s unwavering dedication to her clients and community is the driving force behind her practice. She brings compassion, integrity, and determination to every case she handles.

Gini Onyenukporo
Lawyer
Ginikachi is a dual-licensed lawyer in the Province of Ontario, Canada, and Nigeria.
She has over a decade experience in Family Law, Civil Litigation, Criminal Litigation and Corporate/Commercial Law. She completed her re-licensing journey with the Federation of Law Societies in March 2023 and obtained NCA Certificate of Qualification.
Since her licensing with the Law Society of Ontario, she has focused her practice on Family Law including Child Protection matters, and Wills and Estate.
Clara Le
Lawyer
Clara earned her J.D. from the Lincoln Alexander School of Law at Toronto Metropolitan University. During her legal studies, she completed a placement with Justice for Children and Youth, where she gained substantive experience across a range of practice areas, including family, criminal, education, immigration, and refugee law.
Before joining Javed Law, Clara practiced as a refugee law associate at a boutique immigration firm. In this role, she honed a client-focused and adaptable approach to advocacy, equipping her to navigate complex and sensitive legal matters with professionalism and care.
Beyond her legal practice, Clara is an active swimming coach and enjoys reading and traveling.
Makena Talburt
Lawyer
Makena is a dedicated family lawyer recognized for her professionalism, responsiveness, and clear communication. She earned her LL.B. in Law and International Studies (French) from the University of Central Lancashire in the United Kingdom in 2018. After completing the National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) process in April 2023, she was called to the Bar of Ontario in June 2025.
Before joining Javed Law, Makena worked for over two years as a Family Law legal assistant in Ottawa, where she gained hands-on experience in a wide range of matters, including child protection cases. This foundation equipped her with strong practical insight and a client-focused approach to advocacy.
Beyond her legal practice, Makena has a passion for travel and cultural exploration. As a former flight attendant, she has visited more than 50 countries and values building meaningful connections with people from diverse backgrounds. She also enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends.
Kaylyn Demsys
Law Clerk / Paralegal (not currently providing legal services)
Kaylyn has always been passionate about law and the legal system. After graduating with Honours from the Law Clerk program at Georgian College in 2020, she immediately enrolled in the Paralegal program, which she also completed with Honours. She obtained her P1 License in February 2023.
Although initially considering a career in criminal law, Kaylyn discovered her true interest in Family Law after joining the Javed Law team in January 2022. She is currently working as a law clerk at the firm and is not providing paralegal services at this time.
Outside of work, Kaylyn enjoys spending quality time with her son, camping, watching horror films and reality television, and preparing to write the LSAT as she works toward her goal of attending law school.
Brenda Dittburner
Office Manager/Law Clerk
Brenda has been working as a law clerk since 2006 and has focused exclusively on family law since 2009. Although she was grandfathered in as a paralegal, Brenda chose to dedicate her career to family law out of a strong desire to support individuals during some of the most challenging times in their lives.
As both Office Manager and Law Clerk, Brenda is the heart of our firm. Her compassion, calm presence, and extensive legal knowledge provide invaluable support to both clients and lawyers. With her wealth of experience in law and life, she brings insight, stability, and warmth to every file and every interaction. Brenda ensures that our office runs efficiently while maintaining the highest standard of care for those we serve.
